Dr. Megan Berry Swadell, DACM, L.Ac. is a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, and a Licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist. She currently practices in the beautiful town of San Carlos, California. Megan previously worked at Genentech as a Research Associate in Small Molecule Translational Oncology, has a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from UC Davis, a Master of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine from American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from Pacific College of Health and Science, and is a lover of all things related to health and physiology. Megan is a medical detective who takes great pleasure in biohacking the body and specializes in marrying the mysticism of Chinese Medicine with modern-day science, noting each can be found hidden within the other. She takes great interest in tackling orthopedic ailments, women’s health and fertility challenges, internal medicine mysteries, and beautifying the body through cosmetic acupuncture.
